The Pregnancy Cake Club (on hold)
Immediately after launching this new informal event, the feedback has been out of this world and even led to Abby being interviewed live over on BBC Radio Sheffield in July 2020.
The Pregnancy Cake Club
The aim of these sessions is so that you can socialise with other pregnant people thereby hopefully forming a support network to see you through the rest of your pregnancy and beyond. You are welcome along to more than one session and there will be different topics as well as different guest speakers as we go along.
What to expect
These sessions are not formal but if you would like to know what to expect, we'll be introducing ourselves and having a chat with one another. We will look at the months topic and have a chance to talk about this. There is no pressure and it's not intended to put you on the spot but as this is meant for people to chat and get to know each other, it will work best for all involved if you're happy to chip in with some conversation.
After the session, a form will be sent and you can request to be part of a WhatsApp group that is specific to those who have attended this specific session so that you can keep in touch if you want to; there's no pressure though so if that's not your cup of tea, you don't have to.
You will receive a little goody box in the post because who doesn't like freebies? These will change slightly from session to session but examples of the contents include: handmade crochet umbilical cord ties by me; soft, reusable cloth breastpads courtesy of Stacie's Handmades; doTERRA essential oil samples courtesy of B Carried; a discount for a family photographer courtesy of Cherished Photography by Claudia and other things.
Who doesn't love cake?! You can let me know about any dietary requirements, allergies or considerations ahead of time so that you can have something yummy to eat.
Duration: Around 2 hours
Attend once or many times, it's up to you!
Booking here when available - if no link, there is no current club running.
Fancy a natter?
