This week I added a professional birth pool to my growing collection of ways to support expectant parents!
They're not everybody's cup of tea and that's absolutely fine but for others, they can be wonderful as a form of pain relief.
Some NHS trusts have pools available to hire, but they're often few and far between, so if someone booked it first you're out of luck. They're also quite an investment regarding hiring or buying one privately which is why I've got one that my birth clients are welcome to use, free of charge. It's handy for me so I know exactly how to pop it up and down with relative ease.
A liner and a hose will have to be bought by the client because they are disposed of after each use.
